Hi, I’m Maddison Joy Del Cristo, a Realistic Portrait Artist and Founder of Blessed to Sketch.
I’ve always had a love for drawing portraits.
My approach to every work of art is to capture your most treasured memories through my realistic illustrations.
I focus on a highly detailed, realistic style of drawing. I also utilize high quality art supplies which assist me to achieve a priceless piece of artwork that lasts a lifetime… one sketch at a time.
Just a little bit more about me. I am 17 years old and began drawing since was 5 years old. In 2016 I began drawing cartoon art . In January of 2019 I found myself struggling. I was not happy with where I was with my art & found no enjoyment creating it. So my parents sat me down and told me how much they loved my artwork. They told me how much they desired to see me grow & flourish as an artist by creating realistic drawings instead of drawing cartoons. I thought they were crazy. I told them that,“I would never change my style of artwork”. Until one day I gave it a try and decided to take a leap of faith …and boy did I love it!
I’ve never stopped loving it since!! I thank God for the conversation I had with my parents because if it wasn’t for that conversation, I wouldn’t be here where I am today as a realistic artist. I also thank God for this talent that He has given me because it truly is a way that I can minister to all of you through my artwork.
