Commission FAQ’S
Q: What is a commission
A: A commission is a custom drawing requested by you, so that I can create a drawing using your unique images. Whether it’s a your family, engagement, wedding, anniversary, maternity, graduation, or any special occasion I can create it.
Q: What are the next steps after submitting my inquiry for a commissioned drawing ?
A: Once you’ve submitted your inquiry either via DM or email I’ll discuss with you the details of the drawing that you would like me to create. You will then submit to me (via DM or email) 2 to 3 high quality reference images, the size in which you would like the finished piece to be in & if you would like it framed. Once the above mentioned has been finalized I’ll give you a final price.
Also prices vary depending on size & the amount of people in the image.
Q: Can I modify the details of my inquiry after submission?
A: Yes. If you need to update or add information to your submitted form, please send me an email with the necessary changes. Some exclusions may apply.
Q: What kind of reference image is required to create a drawing?
A: A high quality, non blurry/pixelated image. If you’re not sure of whether your images are suitable, please feel free to email me a variety of images so that I can offer any advice in capturing a better picture or if it’s a good quality for me to draw from. Also please send all images, via email. Due to apps like Instagram, they tend to compress the images and therefor, ,result in low quality making it harder for me to to draw and use as reference.
Q: How long will it take for you to complete a drawing?
A: Depending on the size & the amount of people it will take about 2-8 weeks (not including shipping). If this is for a special occasion I recommend requesting a commission months in advance so that I may complete it and have it shipped to you on time.
Q: How long will it for it to ship?
A: I will send you a tracking number once payment is fulfilled and art piece is finalized.
Q: How are the commissions sent?
A: Commissions will be sent in a sturdy shipping envelope or box (depending on what’s in stock at the time of shipping). The drawing itself will come in a clear sleeve with a poster board (to prevent bending/warping), a thank you note & instructions on how to care for the print.
